HISTORY

Andhra Bible College and Seminary opened its doors for its first semester on June 7, 1987 by Rev. Dr. Jeeva Ratnam Burga. However, the College really began several years earlier in the heart of Dr. V. Daivabhimani.

The College functioned in various rented facilities since 1987. During these eleven years the college held its classes in Vennavallivari peta, Gun-bazaar, Xavier nagar, and Ashok nagar.

In 1998, God blessed this ministry with a six-acre land in a strategic location at Vanguru in Eluru. Several buildings were constructed to accommodate the College and other ministries in this campus.

On 18th November 2003, the (then) General Director of IBM, Dr. Dave Sproul inaugurated a two storey three thousand square foot multi-purpose College block in the North-East corner of the campus. This building would serve as the library, dining, residence hall for the next several years.

A beautiful five thousand square foot academic block was constructed for classes, a three thousand square foot building for dining, library, and residence, and another thousand square foot building separate residence for women.

By 2003, the College was able to completely move in to its new facility.

The College now envisions to train 1000 men and women as pastors, evangelists, missionaries, bible teachers, and as lay workers in a local church by 2030. Come join us and pray that we reach this goal for the glory of our Lord.
